LIfestar Rural EMS Solutions is a non-profit, volunteer organization funded primarily through individual donations, grants, and fundraising. We are a 501(c)3 organization under IRS code, so your donation is tax deductible!
We are a licensed as an ALS transfer service by the Idaho Bureau of EMS. This is a limited source of revenue since we dedicate our care only to our Veterans from the Boise VA Medical Center as an Authorized Veterans Administration Transportation Vendor. We take great pride in giving to those that served us so willingly.
VETERANS HOSPICE PROGRAM STARTING THIS SPRING!
SEE THE INFORMATION RIGHT BELOW!
Our Primary nonprofit mission is to provide free Fire/Rescue and EMS training to rural agencies throughout southern Idaho that cannot afford to bring in outside training to learn the current standards of our industries.
EDUCATION PROGRAM FUNDING NEEDED!
We are a licensed Idaho EMS Education Program, through Advanced EMT 2011 and Continuing Education through Paramedic 2011. The cost to operate a free education program to rural/remote areas of Idaho can be daunting financially. There are many physical items, such as training equipment, mannikins and durable training equipment, advanced cardiac monitoring equipment for training. Additionally the cost of fuel is exorbitant due to the current economy.
RESCUE SERVICES FUNDING NEEDED
We are involved in specialized rescue services, including Paramedic Support at Mass Casualty Incidents as well as providing Advanced Life Support (Paramedic) prehospital support to rural areas with Basic Life Support (EMT) agencies, on request, in southwestern Idaho. We also provide HazMat ToxMedic Support on request. We do not charge for these services.

We are expanding our Veterans care by implementing a program to take VA hospice and rehab patients to see places in SW Idaho they may never see again. Now that the weather is warming up it's time! See the shuttle bus donation info below! Image360 donated a fantastic patriotic graphic scheme to honor our Veterans!
Not everyone wants to use PayPal and we understand that! You can reach out to us to make other donation arrangements.
It takes a lot of help for us to fulfill our missions. Operating an EMS agency is a specialized endeavor that is inherently expensive to offer. No one at Lifestar Rural EMS is paid...WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS!
Station/office space, fuel (especilly hard now}, insurance, supplies and equipment, and much more.
Raising funds to purchase 2 upgraded cardiac monitor defibrillators
No administration staff , or volunteers, at Lifestar Rural EMS Solutions receives any income. We are true volunteers. But, we still have administration expenses such as fuel, insurance, equipment, medical supplies, etc. We rely on donations and the limited fees for standby events to cover these expenses but it's not near enough. Can you help us?
Ambulance transport unit. Hoping for a TYPE I or MEDIUM DUTY 4 x 4. Our current unit has 288,xxx miles on it! We need to get a unit with less miles so that we can convert this to a backup unit.
We are planning to expand our Veterans care by implementing a program to take VA hospice patients to see places in southern Idaho they may never see again. Depending on the level of care they require we can use a wheelchair van or our ambulance to transport them.
Our IRS 990EZ filings shows that we generated the following total revenue before expenses:
2020 - $31,460.00
2021 - $37,828.00
2022 - on an equal track to the above
Copies of our 990EZs are open to public review on request.
